- The next Council meeting is being held on January 22, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. If you would like to attend this meeting please contact Cheryl so we can make sure you are accommodated.
- There will be a Council meeting held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in conjunction with the NAMC in Vancouver.
- Exemption Applications for 2013 were mailed to those who currently hold an exemption number. If you did not get an application you can download one here or contact Cheryl at the Council office. Please note that 2012 exemption numbers expire on December 31 and a new one is needed for 2013.

- The Secretary of Agriculture has made appointments for the positions on the Council that were open for Regions 2 and 3 with terms beginning January 1, 2013. Congratulations to the appointees and thank you to those who participated in the nomination and voting process.

- Region 2 has two positions & Region 3 has one position opening up on the Council with 3 year terms beginning January 1, 2013. Ballots have been tabulated and the nomination package was submitted to USDA for appointments to be made by the Secretary of Agriculture.
- The next Council meeting is being held in Kennett Square, PA on September 10. Please let Cheryl know if you plan to attend so we can accommodate you.
- We have several cases (700 per case) of the “Fresh Mushrooms Easy & Nutritious Recipes” brochures as well as a couple cases (600 per case) of the “Nature’s Hidden Treasure Foodservice Guide” that we are offering at no cost until supplies run out; pay shipping costs only. If you are interested, please complete an order form and send to cheryl@mushroomcouncil.org or 408-432-7213 fax.
