Mushrooms in the News: 12-20-202

Mushrooms continue to pop up on 2022 trends list this week, notably oyster mushrooms were featured in Vegconomist’s list because of their use in the growing alt-seafood category.

Local media in Pennsylvania this week noted mushrooms will be the main focus at the 2022 PA Farm Show, set for Jan. 8-15 in Harrisburg, PA. From the lifecycle of a mushroom to new culinary achievements, visitors will be able to learn about mushrooms in a variety of ways. According to the organizers, “‘Harvesting More’ is the theme of the 2022 Show, and that’s exactly what you’ll find—more mushrooms.”
