Mushrooms in the News: 03-21-2022

Flavor & the Menu magazine featured mushrooms numerous times in its March/April issue, and partnered with the Mushroom Council on an advertorial spread detailing why mushrooms are a “menu must-have.” The article covers everything from three key drivers of mushrooms’ continued trend-setter status to flavor profiles and suggested uses for different varieties. The issue also included an article on mushrooms’ umami flavor where author Rob Corliss describes mushrooms as “a gastronomic joy prized by chefs for their satiating umami flavor, distinctive textures and culinary versatility.”

Magnolia featured mushrooms in two recipes on their website, covering both breakfast and side dishes. Southern Living also shared their favorite stuffed mushroom recipe, while SkinnyTaste shared their take on Mushroom Risotto.
