In the article, the Mushroom Council was able to point out that one of the main reasons mushrooms continue to trend is that they fit many existing food trends. The article also noted the Mushroom Council’s recent 10-year sales report as evidence of mushrooms’ continued rise in popularity. Other trend analysts noted we’re still in the early stages of mushroom popularity, and the writer followed that statement with a comment that if mushroom demand were to continue rising, it would not put a strain on existing systems.
