Recipe galleries featuring mushrooms were all the rage this week, with Eating Well and Martha Stewart both sharing fungi-centric galleries. Eating Well highlighted some mushroom and pasta combos, while Martha Stewart covered all dayparts from omelets to appetizers.
Likewise, on the foodservice front, Foodservice Director featured a gallery of mushroom-centric dishes on menu at establishments from San Francisco to Denver to Cleveland.
Food & Wine touted mushrooms as a “way to burger better” this summer, namely via a Tavern Burger with Drunken Mushrooms recipe. Men’s Health also included mushrooms as an integral part of the classic English breakfast, while Tasting Table shared a recipe for a Veggie Lover’s Cast Iron Pizza.
