This week, Food Navigator posted an article and podcast on the rising opportunities for mushrooms in food and beverage. The author draws attention to the SureHarvest study, noting that mushrooms’ sustainability is another high selling point.
AgWeb spotlighted the sustainability study in a recent article. “Farmers seeking to invest in crops with limited impact should read up on a new report suggesting mushrooms are among the friendliest on the planet,” says Nate Birt, Managing Editor. Additionally, Ozy featured the culinary trend to cut back on meat and noted the Blended Burger as a solution and a “phenomenon.”
