Culinary Institute of America – Global Plant Forward Culinary Summit, April 26 – 28
The Mushroom Council will be participating in the Culinary Institute of America’s Global Plant-Forward Culinary Summit in April. The Mushroom Council will be recognized as a sponsor in the summit, which brings together 300 chefs who apply and then are selected by CIA to participate. In this 3-day conference, attendees will participate in dialogues to discover solutions to promote a healthy and environmentally sustainable food system for the planet. This program is a natural fit for promoting mushrooms, and Top Chef and CIA grad Spike Mendelsohn will be the mushroom chef ambassador, conducting an educational session on mushroom sustainability followed by a culinary demo.
