The Blend reached its largest-ever consumer audience Tuesday with a 4-minute segment on NBC’s TODAY Show. Blended Burger Project finalist Logan Guleff presented his ‘Mushroom Monster Burger’ in a cooking demonstration with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager during the fourth hour.

Additionally, Eater Portland spotlighted well-known Portland chefs Greg and Gabi Denton for featuring blended burgers on their SuperBite menu. “First, we like the flavor, texture, and the umami quality that the mushrooms provide without overpowering the beef,” says Chef Gabi Denton. […] “So not only is the burger delicious, but it’s also healthier and a little more environmentally sound.”

A student reporter at UCONN offers his take on the Blend at his school’s cafeteria, making note of the burger’s sustainability and health benefits. While most of his friends love the burger, he concludes he personally doesn’t like it.
