Mushrooms in the News: 08-11-17

Tt’s been a strong week for blended burger media coverage on numerous fronts. Some highlights:

Dan Pashman of NPR’s the Sporkful discussed the blended burger as a “burger of the future,” noting that it’s an entryway to reducing our meat intake.

303 Magazine included our blended burger in a roundup of “7 Favorite Bites from Denver Burger Battle.” The author notes: “We were skeptical, but totally wrong in our assumptions – the burger was lighter while still maintaining the meaty-burger flavor. Honestly, it was a welcome difference among all of the rich dishes at the event.”

Local publications in North Carolina, Florida and Nevada spotlighted Blended Burger Project™ participants and finalists in their area. On the trade front, And Now You Know, The Produce News, The Packer and Foodservice Director covered the winners announcement.

Last but not least, we served blended burgers to more than 300 bikers at Sturgis last night. Stay tuned for the event recap, but here’s a sneak peak:
