Mushrooms in the News: 11-17-17

The Blend was featured online and in print publications this week. Cooking Light featured a mushroom and pork blended meatball in the December issue. Flavor & The Menu called out the blended burger trend as inspiration for a mushroom ketchup noting, “This plays into the blended burger trend, where equal parts of ground beef and cooked ground mushrooms are blended and formed into patties. Use that equity in ketchup on a 100 percent beef burger, blended burger or plant-based burger.”

Mushroom holiday recipes are being shared in a variety of national publications including One Green Planet, Huffington Post, and New York Times.
