Mushrooms in the News: 02-26-2020
Mushrooms were included in a roundup of superfoods in Real Simple’s upcoming March issue. Mushrooms earn a spot in the list as they “boast antioxidants plus impressive amounts of immune boosting vitamin D and selenium.” Additionally, blended burgers are called out for being “better for the planet as well as your health.”
Food Network suggests mushrooms as an easy way to get more veggies on your plate, explaining that “they’re so good, [they] have a feeling [mushrooms] might even become a staple in your 2020 diet.”
