Mushrooms in the News: 08-22-2022

With summer soon coming to an end, we’re starting to see more fall-inspired recipes, from soups to meatloaf, appear in news coverage this week. Food & Wine shared what they called “40 Mushroom Recipes to Put on Repeat.” Martha Stewart shared a portion of her mushroom-centric cooking class on YouTube, which contains several of her favorite mushroom recipes as well as tips and tricks to make your mushrooms as good as Martha’s. Insanely Good also shared a gallery of their favorite mushroom pasta recipes. Burger recipes continue to be popular with both Salon and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune featuring veggie burgers, with Salon specifically calling out the blended burger.

On the nutrition front, Parade noted mushrooms for their Vitamin B content. The Delicious Life also shared cooking techniques and a nutritional overview for Lion’s Mane mushrooms.
